“Fail
to learn and learn to win”
In
this developed and ultra modern world; people has defined the term ‘failure’ in
a very negative approach. The thought of some people about this term has
brought the fear, the incapability, the inefficiency, the disbelief with it. Tagging
a negative experience as failure is the huge misunderstanding that the world is
bearing. They always see this situation with a negative mindset. The most
important thing is that, the misunderstanding, the strong prejudice about
failure is capturing the mind of rising youths and adults of today. They judge
it as a big blunder. They surrender themselves to it, thinking that
experiencing failure in one subject or field will cause the same effect in
successive performances. Failing in one matter brings self-doubt, self-hate,
lowers confident, incapability, and inefficiency within themselves; which in
turn lowers their performance in future. Some people even don’t take an attempt
towards their dream because of fear to fail. They associate failure with the
fear of criticism, like a mind set: “what people will say if I fail”? Also there
are many news flying around on the cases of suicide attempted by students; as
they failed to achieve their dream, rather I will say the dream of others.
In
this discussion, I will try to give the readers a positive idea on the topic of
failure.
If
all of us think in a deep manner, we will observe that failure is a blessing
for us. Most of the ordinary thinkers will get surprise with my statement, and
may think that: how failure can be a blessing? But, it is true.
The
very first and foremost thing we need to do is to understand that the term
failure is nothing, but a name given to a feelings, that we feel after a
negative result occur on any field we are passionate about. Who judge us as a
failure or as a successful figure? Obviously the critics, the haters, the
doubters are not the judge of our result; we ourselves are the real judge. But,
there is a fault in our judgement. We generally the dream chasers, who are
passionate or obsessed about their dreams, must take the failure as a gift of
God, but maximum of us take it as a curse, and blame over our luck; here where
the fault lies.
Let
us first understand why we fail through some examples, and then I will bring
the transparency, why I called it a gift?
A
few years back when we were child, when we came in this earth from the mother’s
womb, did we start walking without falling? Did we start talking without any
learning of mother tongue or any other languages? Did we start eating with our
own hand on the first day? The answer is a big NO. But, the situation today is
different. How the situations now changed? The only reason is by learning. We
learned how to walk by failing many times, we learned how to talk by failing
several times and also we learned how to eat by our own hands obviously by
failing.
So,
why the mindset has changed now? Why we fear to fail? As we all have crossed
the situations earlier and learned the fact that by going through failure only,
learning can comes. If a student fails in any examination, that means he was
not well prepared. His failure would bring him at the same starting point to
fill the gap which he left earlier, to reach a positive result. Failure only
occurs, when we are having insufficient knowledge or we are lacking with a
sufficient experiences on any particular field.
Failure
doesn’t mean that we will remain stagnant at that point. Failure means, it is
providing us the opportunity to prepare well in our journey yet again. It
generally brings out the mistakes we had done; it shows us the wrong formulas
we had chose to move forward. In the journey to make our dream true, we need to
recognize the gaps, the mistakes, the wrong thinking or implementations that
failure generally project in front of us. What we need to do after recognizing?
We must work hard to fulfil the gaps, learn from mistakes, and implement the
thinking in right ways by acquiring sufficient knowledge. This powerful tool
that is knowledge will put us on the top spot of our dream. The opposite also
may happen. We may again encounter failure; it means we are not fully prepared
yet, and we must again go through the whole process and need to find out the
fault. Again after rectifying the fault we must walk on our road of destiny.
Thus,
take failure as a blessing, as a gift, because it provides all of us the
learning opportunities for strengthening our knowledge than earlier. We all
must remember that: the much we will
fail, the more knowledgeable we will be.
Maximum
of people in this society after encountering failure generally breaks down from
within. They think that their opportunities have come to an end. But failure
and success are the two sides of a coin. A few people stops tossing the coin
after they fall down in their journey. May be the next toss could bring the
success. Similarly, after encountering failure we must need to try again by
converting our weak points into the strongest foundations.
Learning
from the mistakes will make you stronger, and when you will become stronger in
your road, the failure will create your road to reach the highest point of
success. Treat failures as the steps of a ladder to reach the point of your
destiny. While riding the steps you may fall down twice or thrice, but if you
leave to try again, how you will reach at the awaited spot? You need to attempt
fourth or fifth time to grab the success. Only way to reach there is by
gathering knowledge.
Thus,
from today, if you fail, don’t be broken from within. But, learn again, stand
up and walk another time with the radiation of knowledge, so that success gets
attract by you.
Points to remember:
1. Tagging a negative experience as failure is the huge
misunderstanding that the world is bearing.
2. Failure is a blessing for us.
3. Failure is nothing, but a name given to a feelings,
that we feel after a negative result occur on any field we are passionate
about.
4. Failure doesn’t mean that we will remain stagnant at
that point. Failure means, it is providing us the opportunity to prepare well
in our journey yet again.
5. The much we will fail, the more knowledgeable we
will be, and finally
6. Fail to learn and learn to win.
